ARCS operates a number of mailing lists for internal purposes, and to communicate information to our users. Below you can find a description of these lists, as well as a link to subscribe.
Please be aware that ARCS also operates a Help Desk. You can contact the Help Desk to resolve most issues.
Community – ARCS' Community list is a low-volume list used to announce new tools or services, upcoming meetings or conferences, and significant changes to the wider community. The list is moderated, and only official messages will be sent. Intended for : anyone who wishes to be informed of general ARCS-related news, in a wider context

Developers – The ARCS Developers list is a technical list, where people are able to discuss issues on technical or operational matters. Planned and unplanned outages or minor changes will also be communicated on this list. Changes to production services will be announced here. As this list is used to discuss technical queries or issues, the traffic on the list can be quite high at times; if you would just like to know about major happenings, you might want to consider the Community list. The list is not moderated, and membership is open to any member of the Australian research sector or user of ARCS's services. Intended for : ARCS users, staff and associates who need to be aware of and discuss technical and operational matters at a fine-grained level
