It is anticipated that this document will be of interest to Service Providers and will enable them to determine their degree of Trust in Identities provided by the ARCS IdP.
This document describes the workflow required to join the ARCS IdP, information stored about end-users, and how to view and edit your stored information, how to use the ARCS IdP to access services and resources on an Australian Access Federation (AAF) Service Provider (SP), and how to cease membership of the ARCS IdP.
ARCS IdP QuickStart User Guide ![]()
A few words and screen shots describing the basics of creating and identity in the ARCS IdP and using ARCS IdP to access an AAF Service Provider.
Identity Level of Assurance (LoA)
The Policy Document refers to a user’s “Required Identity Level-of-Assurance”. The definition of Identity LoA’s is not yet agreed by Federation members, hence the current release of the ARCS IdP only supports the base LoA, called the “Floor of Trust”.
