Using Grid Services and Grisu

Grisu provides a simple-to-use graphical user interface for submitting high performance computing (HPC) jobs on the Australian Research Collaboration Service’s Grid.

Authentication: The easiest way to authenticate yourself with Grisu is to log on with your institutional user name and password.

Users with existing HPC accounts: You can map your institutional user name to an existing HPC account. You need only do this once, but you must individually map each existing HPC account that you have. Map your HPC account.

Using Grix: Only use Grix if you need to use Grid authentication certificates directly or to manage your compute project membership.

System users must have Java 1.5 (or a newer version) installed to run applications on the ARCS Compute Cloud client. Install Java
