ARCS Data Services Fair Use Policy
ARCS Data Fabric
- 25GB of storage per individual researcher. Please contact ARCS to discuss options if more storage is required.
- Limit is monitored, not strictly enforced
- ARCS reserves the right to enforce limits at any stage
- ARCS will never delete data that is above the limit
- If excessive use is detected, ARCS will work to develop an arrangement suitable to both parties
- If a user closes his /her account with ARCS and does not make any arrangements for the continuity of data, ARCS reserves the right to dispose of any data six months after an account is closed.
ARCS Database Service
- 5GB per project
- As many databases as required
- Databases for each project can be a combination of MySQL and PostgreSQL
ARCS Data Transfer Service
- Initial requirement assessment is free
- Part of the initial assessment determines if work can be done as part of normal ARCS Data Services operations or if extra human resource or infrastructure are required (both at extra cost)
