The Auth Tool provides a means for you to map your grid credentials (ie your Grid x509 Certificate) to an existing logon account on one of the ARCS Member's supercomputers. This approach is suitable if you will be using only that supercomputer and your data is there or on your desktop.
To use the Auth Tool you must have -
If you use a number of ARCS Member sites, you may need to map each one separately, as there is no interconnection between sites based on the Auth Tool mapping.
To map your credentials, click on the appropriate link below. Further down this page is some advice if the process does not work smoothly.

There are a couple of things that may go wrong during this process. It's important that you realise that there are two separate authentication stages happening here. If either fails, the whole thing will not work. By understanding what's going on, you will be able to work out at what stage a problem exists.
