Video Collaboration Tools

Video Collaboration Tools (also referred to as video-conference tools, or v/c tools) provide a means for online meetings between colleagues at different locations, whether that is within a city, interstate or international.

Whilst such meetings may be as simple as talking face-to-face, they can also involve presentation of data and documents, through to remote control of hardware. In all cases, the meetings are interactive and collaborative.

ARCS can advise on a number of v/c tools, and ARCS staff regularly use most of these in their work.

The main supported tools are Access Grid and EVO. Other tools may be evaluated from time to time.

For information on these tools, as well as general and specific discussion on various aspects of v/c technology, please see the menu items under Services>Video Collaboration.
